How activation works
Activation follows the account-activation design: the desktop app opens your system browser, you sign in and approve linking this computer, then the app receives a one-time code on a local loopback address — never your password.

Install Lumenet on Windows
Run the signed installer when it is published. Verify the publisher signature in Windows before you install.

Choose Sign in from the desktop app
Open Lumenet on this PC and start activation. The app opens your default system browser to the account site.

Sign in to your account
If you are not already signed in, log in or create an account in the browser. Full desktop features require account activation.

Approve this device in the browser
Review the activation request, name this device, and approve. Only proceed if you started sign-in from the Lumenet app on this machine.

Return to the app automatically
After approval, the browser redirects to a local address on this computer. The desktop app receives a one-time authorization code and completes activation — not your password.
Manage activated devices and revoke seats from your account dashboard. Activation collects only sign-in, seats, and entitlement — never your firewall log.
